Microsoft announced officially on Monday the specifications of the next generation of its gaming platform, Xbox Series X, to be put on the market by late 2020.




The tech giant said: The Xbox S series will come with a customized version of the Zen 2 processor that has 8 cores at a frequency of 3.8 GHz, and the graphics processor unit is 12 teraflops, a customized version of the RDNA 2 processor at a frequency of 1.825.









The platform processors are built with the improved 7-nanometer process and come with 16GB GDDR6 RAM with 320Mbps bus transfer.




The platform's (RAM) memory comes with a package width of 10 GB at 560 GB / s, or 6 GB at 336 GB / s, while the internal storage will come from NVMe SSD with a capacity of 1 TB.









The Xbox Sense X platform will come with a port that allows the internal storage to be expanded to another 1 TB. There are other ports, including the USB 3.2 port for connecting an external HDD storage disk.




The platform also includes a 4K UHD Blu-Ray disc reader, and it features support for displaying games with 4K resolution at 60 fps, or support for games with a frame rate of 120 fps.




In addition to Microsoft's announcement of the platform specifications, the famous technology channel of its owner (Austin Evans) published an exclusive preview of the Xbox Xbox X platform, in which Evans detailed the specifications of the platform, as well as dismantled it to reveal the internal components of the platform.
